This is a wonderful medieval silver finger ring, dating to the 15th - 16th century. It is engraved with a heart pierced with an arrow, symbolic of love. Such a ring is usually engraved as a signet, but on this bezel the engraving is too shallow for a seal and thus probably given as a token of love, or as Valentine's day gift? Today this ring has survived in excellent condition, suitable to be worn and gifted again!
