This is a nice Renaissance silver reliquary cross pendant, dating to the 16th - 17th century A.D. The cross opens to reveal seven receptacles to hold a relic, the lid then closes tight and is secured with a pin. The outside is decorated with a geometric design on both sides. It is intact and all original. A nice cross that can still be used and worn again today!
