This is a nice Tudor silver-gilt dress-hook, dating to the 16th century. This example is intact with the attachment loop and small hook for securing. The face is decorated and mercurial gold gilded. It was originally found in Wiltshire in June 1987 and reported Devizes Museum. A nice example that can still be worn as a unique pendant.
