Intact pair of Tudor silver-gilt dress hooks clothing fasteners

This is an intact pair of Tudor silver-gilt dress-hooks, dating to the 16th century. They both have the original loop and hook, both sewing rings to be secured to a chain or sewn onto garments. The faces are decorated with a rose design and mercurial gold gilded. Originally found in the River Avon at Salisbury in the mid-1970s.
