This is a rare and original Celtic La Tene bronze torque (of a buffer-type) dating to the 5th - 3rd century B.C. It retains one of the disc-shaped finials, still attached to the plain band hoop. Such a torque would have been worn around the neck by a Celtic warrior. This example is in excavated condition.
