This is an interesting Baroque period armorial fob seal, dating to the late 17th to early 18th century. The rock crystal swivel fob bears three faces, two are left plain with one finely cut with an armorial device and crest. This represents a crowned figure holding a bunch of flowers. The shield bears a crest on top of a helmet, the crest in the form of two wings between a standard, on the standard, is a Cruciger. The sides of the crystal are faceted. The fob is silver gilt, missing the top swivel ring. It is an interesting antique seal that will benefit from further research.
