This is an ancient Roman gold Solidus of emperor Theodosius I dating to 384 - 388 AD.
Obverse: DN THEODO-SIVS P F AVG "Our Lord Theodosius, Pious Happy Augustus" Pearl-diademed, draped and cuirassed bust right.
Reverse: VICTOR-IA AVGG "To the Victory of the Emperors" Emperors enthroned facing, holding globe between them, palm between legs, the figure of Victory with wings spread above;
This coin was struck at the Treveri (Trier) mint in Germany under Magnus Maximus between 384 - 388 AD
