Merovingian Saxon period silver finger ring

This is a lovely Merovingian silver finger ring, dating to the 6th - 7th century A.D. The ring is formed from a rod of silver to form the hoop, the shoulders decorated with granulation as clusters. The bezel decorated with incised geometric design. It is intact but in excavated condition.
