Baroque 18k gold and rose cut diamonds cross pendant

This is a delightful Baroque period gold and rose-cut diamond cross pendant, dating to the late 17th - early 18th century. The cross is made from 18k yellow gold but the bail appears to be a later 19th-century repair in a lower 9ct gold. The back also has some old solder repairs. A nice antique gold cross in wearable condition.
