Renaissance silver gilt pendant with tassels

This is a nice Renaissance silver-gilt pendant, dating to the mid 16th - early 17th century A.D. The pendant is decorated with two stylized dolphins each with tails raised and facing each other. The lower section is decorated with drop tassels. It retains the original large suspension hoop to enable it to be worn on a chain. A nice antique pendant from the Age of the Tudors that can still be worn today!
