This is an ancient Roman AE AS, of Emperor Claudius, minted in Rome between 50 - 54 AD
Obverse: TI CLAVDIVS CAESAR AVG P M TR P IMP P P, "Tiberius Claudius Caesar, emperor (Augustus), high priest, holder of tribunician power, supreme commander (Imperator), father of the nation" bare head of Claudius facing left shoulder
Reverse: Minerva hurling javelin and holding round shield on left arm, advancing right. S C "Decree of the senate" across lower field ".
