Ancient Roman silver Fourrée denarius of Emperor Claudius / Nemesis

This is an ancient Roman silver plated coin (ancient forgery) Fourrée denarius of Emperor Claudius, minted by the Suffolk forger around 51-52 AD in Britain. 

Obverse: TI CLAVD CAESAR AVG P M TR P X IMP P PIII, laureate head of Claudius facing right

Reverse: PACI AVGVSTAE Pax-Nemesis, winged, advancing right, holding winged caduceus (pointing down at snake, before) in left hand, right hand holding out fold of drapery below chin.

In 1995 a hoard of 110 silver plated denarii was found near Wortham in Suffok, it became known as the "North Suffolk Forger's Hoard". This hoard was likely buried by the forger who never returned to dig up the treasure, in the hoard was a group of denarii depicting the winged avenger goddess Nemesis, same as on this example (now retained in the British Museum collection 1996,1021.25).

This is a good example, rare with clear detail.
