This is a Tudor silver halfgroat of King Henry VIII, minted at York between 1526 - 1530 AD. The obverse bears a young portrait of Henry. The reverse T.W. beside the royal arms, these initials denote the coin was struck under the authority of the Church - in this case, Cardinal Thomas Wolsey who has even included his Cardinals hat below. It is a nice and toned example, in at least fine condition for type.
