This is a medieval silver counter seal, dating to the 15th century. The seal is deeply cut of a silver bezel, that at one time may have formed a signet ring. The device of a bird in my opinion resembles a raven or crow, likely associated with a heraldic charge. At some stage the silver bezel has been reset into a gold pendant, this was usually to enable the seal to continue to function (when inherited as a signet ring that did not fit etc). The seal is inscribed in blackletter script with "Les Vico". An excellent seal in perfect wearable condition, worthy of further research.
