This is an ancient Roman Silver Denarius, of Emperor Antoninus Pius, minted at Rome in 144 - 148 AD
Obverse: ANTONINVS AVG PIVS P P TR P XI, "Antoninus, emperor, Pius, father of the nation holder of tribunician power for the eleventh time" laureate head right
Reverse: COS IIII, "Consul for the fourth time" Annona standing left before modius filled with corn ears, holding two corn ears & anchor
