This is an ancient Roman Silver Denarius, of Emperor Antoninus Pius, minted at Rome in 145 - 161 AD
Obverse: ANTONINVS AVG PIVS PP, "Antoninus, emperor, Pius, father of the nation" laureate head right
Reverse: COS IIII, "Consul for the fourth time" Thunderbolt on a decorated altar
