This is a delightful Renaissance silver-gilt and pearl pendant, dating to the 16th century. This jewel is set with a large round pearl within a rose-shaped bezel. The jewel retains a further two on the suspension ring and one pearl drop. A rare pendant from the age of King Henry VIII (and The Tudors) in excavated condition.
