This is a medieval silver penny of King Henry III, struck at the London mint between 1250-1272 AD. ҺЄHRICVS RЄX III, crowned facing bust holding sceptre. The Moneyer who struck the coin was called Ricard, his name and mint are found on the reverse of the coin. RICARD.ON.LVND voided long cross with pellet at the centre and three pellets in each quarter. This is a Class 5C.
