Ancient Roman silver and carnelian cameo ring of Eros

This is an ancient Roman silver finger ring, dating to the 2nd century A.D. It is classified as a Henig type III. The ring is set with a carnelian cameo of Eros/Cupid. Such a ring may have once been gifted as a symbol of love. A nice ancient ring in good wearable condition.
