This is an ancient Roman AE (copper) As, of Emperor Hadrian, minted in Rome between 125 - 126 AD
Obverse: HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS, "Hadrian, emperor (Augustus)" laureate head right.
Reverse: SALVS AVGVSTI / COS III / S - C, "Health of the emperor. Consul for the third time. Decree of the senate" Salus standing left holding patera and sceptre, feeding serpent rising from altar.
This is a wonderful ancient coin with a superb portrait and a nice patina/surfaces at least GVF
