Iron Age Celtic Bronze & Enamel Finger Ring

This is a wonderful Iron Age Celtic bronze finger ring, dating to the 4th - 1st century BC. The ring is decorated with a raised button-shaped bezel, set with red enamel. This type of ring imitates red coral, being a fashionable and elite jewel imported from the Mediterranean. The ring is intact, wearable and bears a nice chocolate brown patina.
