This is a late medieval gold finger ring, dating to the late 15th - early 16th century AD. The ring is quite small, so likely worn on an upper joint or by a young lady. The gemstone is missing but judging by the shape of the bezel would have been a pointcut diamond. The bezel is shaped in the round with petals, the shoulders are also designed with thorns giving the impression of a flowering rose. It is a dainty ring with lots of character and presence. See also LVPL-AE4F3D and HESH-171513 for further discussion.
