Medieval silver-gilt signet ring of an Eagle

This is a superb medieval silver-gilt signet ring, dating to the 15th century. It is in excellent condition with a nice patina. The eagle is well cut depicting its flight among the stars. This ring was excavated in the south of England and recently out of a private collection in Nottingham. A very good signet intact and wearable with care!
