A nice Georgian silver whisky tumbler cup by Fuller White, hallmarked for London 1761. The interior retains a light lemon gold gilding, with no traces of decoration or engraving. The inside does bear traces of the original planishing and is very attractive. The marks are worn, the date letter 'F' is identifiable but the maker's mark is uncertain, either Fuller White or a John Payne who were both active at this date. This is a very special cup, very tactile and in excellent condition.
